Market context

A Counter-Strike best-of-three match between 100 Thieves and Ursa is scheduled for 4 June 2026 at 10:00 AM ET as part of the CCT Europe Series 3 Playoffs Round 16. The market resolves to the winner of the match, with a 50-50 settlement if the match is cancelled, delayed beyond seven days without completion, or ends in a tie. The 90% implied probability for 100 Thieves reflects their established roster strength and recent competitive performance in European Counter-Strike, though Ursa's qualification to this stage indicates they have cleared preliminary rounds.

Historical precedent in CCT Europe tournaments shows that higher-seeded or more established organisations typically convert playoff advantages, though upsets occur when lesser-known teams exploit map pools or tactical preparation. Recent CCT Europe Series results have generally seen favourites win at rates consistent with 85–92% probabilities when facing lower-ranked opponents, suggesting the current odds align with typical competitive dynamics rather than outlier sentiment.

Traders should monitor roster confirmations and any schedule changes through the CCT official channels, as player absences or last-minute substitutions have occasionally altered match outcomes in regional playoffs. The settlement window closes at 20:10 UTC on 4 June, allowing a ten-hour buffer beyond the scheduled start time. From a regulatory perspective, this market's accessibility depends on jurisdiction: German traders face GlüStV restrictions on esports betting, whilst US CFTC oversight applies to derivatives contracts on event outcomes. Platforms offering no-KYC access up to $1,500 typically restrict this market to non-US, non-German users, with higher stakes requiring identity verification under AML frameworks.

FAQ

How are winnings taxed?
Tax treatment varies by jurisdiction. In most countries, prediction market gains are treated as ordinary income or capital gains. We cannot provide tax advice — consult a tax professional for your specific situation.
Can I trade anonymously?
Pseudonymously, yes — up to the KYC threshold. PolyGram stores an email address and wallet addresses rather than a legal name. Over $1,500 lifetime volume triggers KYC, after which identity is no longer anonymous.
Are prediction markets gambling?
Legally unclear in most jurisdictions. Some interpretations classify them as wagering (gambling regulation applies), others as derivatives (financial regulation applies). There's no global precedent specifically for on-chain prediction markets.
Is there a withdrawal cap?
No platform-side cap. You can withdraw any amount provided KYC is complete. SEPA bank withdrawals over €15,000 trigger additional anti-money-laundering checks (statutory obligation for all platforms).
What if regulation changes?
If regulation changes in your jurisdiction (e.g. prediction markets are banned), PolyGram would geo-block the affected region and continue processing withdrawals. Your funds remain withdrawable at any time.
